Arrange In-Home Physical Therapy in Hicksville and Nassau County
The fastest way to get started is to call. Tell us what is going on, where you live, and what you are finding hard right now, and we will tell you honestly whether in-home physical therapy is the right next step.

- Email: info@strengthworkspt.com
- Hours: Flexible appointments available, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Calling is faster than emailing
Most questions take two minutes on the phone and would take three emails to settle. If you are deciding whether this is worth doing at all, call.
If you would rather write
Email works for scheduling, directions and paperwork questions. Please do not send medical details by email.
What Happens When You Call
We will ask three things: where you are, what is bothering you, and what you are trying to get back to doing.
From that we can usually tell you on the first call whether physical therapy is likely to help, roughly how many visits that tends to take, and what a visit costs.
If it is not the right fit, we will say so. That is a shorter conversation and nobody has lost anything.
Where We Come to You
Strength Works PT is a mobile practice based in Hicksville. Care is delivered in your home, and in some cases your workplace, across Nassau County and nearby communities.
There is no clinic to travel to and no waiting room.
Before Your First Visit
Nothing needs to be bought or set up in advance.
- Comfortable clothing you can move in
- Any discharge instructions or imaging reports, if you have had surgery or a scan
- A list of medications
- A clear space where you usually sit
Your therapist brings whatever equipment the visit needs.
How Payment Works
Strength Works PT is credentialed with Medicare and Aetna. Plans differ, so call and we will check yours before anything is booked.
If your plan is not one we bill, or you would rather keep the plan out of it, you can pay for your care directly. Either way you know the cost before the first visit.
Do You Need a Referral?
No. You can begin with a direct evaluation.
New York’s direct access provisions allow a licensed physical therapist to evaluate and treat you without a physician referral, for up to 10 visits or 30 days from your first treatment, whichever comes first. If your care should continue beyond that, we will tell you what is needed and help you arrange it. If Medicare is paying for your care, your plan of care also needs to be signed by your physician, which we help arrange. Neither one holds up your first appointment.
