Agreement to These Terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the site.

These terms apply to the website only. If you become a patient, the terms of your care are set out separately, in what you are given and sign at the start of treatment.

This Site Does Not Give Medical Advice

Reading it is not a substitute for being examined. Two people with the same symptom can need opposite things, and the only way to know which applies to you is an evaluation by a clinician who can see you.

Do not delay seeking care, and do not disregard advice you have been given by a clinician, because of something you read here.

Using the Site Does Not Make You a Patient

Reading this site, calling the number on it, or sending an email does not by itself create a therapist–patient relationship.

That relationship begins when the practice accepts you as a patient and an evaluation takes place. Until then, no clinical duty is owed to you on the basis of your having visited this site.

Permitted Use

You may read, print and share the pages of this site for your own non-commercial use.

You may not:

• Copy or republish the site's content, in whole or in substantial part, as your own or as part of another service.
• Use automated means to scrape, harvest or bulk-download the site in a way that burdens it.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its hosting, or any system connected to it.
• Use the site to transmit anything unlawful, or to interfere with anyone else's use of it.
• Use the practice's name, logo or wordmark without written permission.

Ownership

The text, photographs, design, logo and arrangement of this site belong to Strength Works PT or to those who licensed them to the practice, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

Nothing on the site grants you a license to use any of it beyond what is described above.

Where this site links to another organization — a hospital, a professional body, a government agency — the link is provided because it is useful.

We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement. When you follow one, the terms and privacy policy of that site apply, not ours.

We take care to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of error or omission, and clinical understanding changes over time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the site belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Nassau County, New York.
